Georgia H. Livermore, III, MD

Short biography


Georgia H. Livermore, III, MD grew up in New York State and graduated from SUNY College at Purchase in Purchase, NY in 1981 with honors and a double major in Biology and Chemistry. Livermore then attended the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) located in Bethesda, Maryland. After graduating from USUHS in 1985, he went on to do a transitional internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. In 1988, Livermore began surgical training with the Otolaryngology Service at Walter Reed and finished his residency in 1992. His first duty assignment was at Ft. Stewart in Hinesville, GA. After leaving active duty in 1997, Livermore went on to practice in multiple different states and companies: Jesup, GA, Memphis, TN, Shelbyville, TN, and Atlanta, GA.



In 2016, Livermore became the South Atlanta Surgeon for Ear, Nose, and Throat Institute. He has honed his skills in sinus surgery and the treatment of sleep apnea. Currently, he is the primary implanting surgeon for the Inspire device for South Atlanta. Most of his career has been spent providing care in underserved areas. This was true during his tenure in the Army and after that in the civilian sector. Livermore gets great satisfaction with giving back to the citizens of this great country. He is most unique in the variety of what he does and his level of experience, specifically loving Rhinoplasty.

In his spare time, Livermore enjoys spending time with his wife and family. He still works on cars, tinkers with woodworking, and repairs around the house. He and his wife, Heather, love the outdoors, hiking, spending time with their pets, and any activity their kids/grandkids become involved in. The two have four dogs and five cats and his favorite pastime is to sit by the pool/beachside with a cool drink and a good book. Livermore looks forward to being an asset to the Ear, Nose, & Throat Clinic of Coffee County's practices, its employees, and the patients they serve.

Alexis McNeill, Certified Physician Assistant

Short biography


Alexis McNeill is a Certified Physician Assistant. Alexis attended South Georgia State College where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Biological Sciences. During her time at SGSC, Alexis also worked in the Emergency Room at Coffee Regional Medical Center as an ER technician. Upon completion of her undergraduate degree, Alexis attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL, where she obtained her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies. After graduation from PA school, Alexis chose to begin her career with the ENT Clinic of Coffee County in January of 2023.

 

Alexis is a Douglas native and a Coffee High School Alumni. When she's not at work, Alexis enjoys spending time with her family and fiancé. She loves anything that involves the ocean, sun, good food, and a good pair of shoes. Alexis is thankful to God for the ability to care for the human life and she is overwhelmingly grateful for the opportunity to serve her hometown community through the gift of medicine.

Annsley Matthews Coffee, Certified Physician Assistant

Short biography


Annsley Mathews Coffee is a Certified Physician Assistant. Annsley attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College on an athletic scholarship and later transferred to Valdosta State University where she graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. While attending VSU, she received several awards including the 2011 Female Greek Achiever of the Year. Annsley later attended South University in Savannah, GA to obtain her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies. After graduating in 2015, she began her career as a Physician Assistant at ENT Clinic of Coffee County. Annsley also worked as a PA part-time in the CRMC ER Department from 2015-2016.


Annsley and her husband, Cam, live in Coffee County with their daughter, two cats and one dog. They are natives to Coffee County with deep roots in the community. Both of their families have served Coffee County with local businesses for over 30 years. Annsley is an alumni of Coffee High School and was very involved in athletics and organizations. She continues to support our local community and schools. Annsley thanks God for the opportunity to fulfill her dreams of caring for the individuals in her hometown and the surrounding areas.

Todd Sumler, Nurse Practitioner 

Short biography


Todd graduated from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College with a nursing degree in December 1985. Todd started as an intensive care nurse at South Georgia Medical Center (SGMC) in the cardiac unit until February 1996, and then a charge nurse in CICU until 2000. Todd then graduated with a bachelor's degree from Valdosta State University in 2000. He served as director of nursing and clinical services in Lakeland, Georgia, at Lewis Smith Memorial Hospital until 2001. From 2001-2005, Sumler was the manager of non-invasive services at SGMC and then was the case manager at SGMC from 2005-2011. While working for rehab services at SGMC in 2012, Sumler completed his master’s degree from Frontier Nursing University in 2012. Todd has been with the ENT since 2013, after obtaining his nurse practitioner certification. 


When he is not working, he enjoys bowling, woodworking and fishing with his wife, Leasa.

Janan Albritton, Nurse Practitioner

Short biography


Janan Albritton is a Nurse Practitioner with a heart for Waycross, Georgia. Born in Florida, Janan’s family moved to Waycross in 1980. After graduating from Waycross College in 1986, she went on to Southern Adventist University in Chattanooga, Tennessee and received a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and went on to work as a social worker in mental health. After much soul searching, Janan went back to SAU to become a registered nurse in 1998.


Janan moved back home, to Waycross, where she had opportunity to work as a labor and delivery nurse in the birthing center at Satilla Regional Medical Center, from 2002 into 2018. In 2013, Janan decided to further her education and attended Walden University, graduating in 2016 with her Master’s degree for Family Nurse Practitioner. Janan has enjoyed the past three years serving the Waycross community in urgent care, and she is excited to join the ENT clinic family.


Janan enjoys watching international soccer. She loves the sun, the beach, and traveling, especially with her three nephews and two sisters. She loves her church family and believes God has led her on a journey filled with a diverse education and work experiences to prepare her to better serve those needing care in this community.

Steven Keene, Nurse Practitioner 

Short biography


Steven Keene is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Steven attended South Georgia College in Douglas, GA and received his Associate of Science in Nursing in 2007. He then went on to obtain his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South Georgia State College in 2015. After receiving his Bachelor degree, Steven then went on to advance his education and career with South University in Savannah, GA where he obtained his Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner. Steven started his nursing career as a registered nurse in the operating room at Coffee Regional Medical Center. After graduating from South University in 2017, Steven began his Nurse Practitioner career with Coffee County Hospitalist Physicians at Coffee Regional Medical Center. In 2019, he went on to practice primary care at Coffee Correctional Facility in Nicholls, GA. 

Steven and his three children live in Coffee County with their 4 dogs. Steven, a native of Brantley County, moved to Coffee County in 1993. He attended Coffee High School and graduated in 1995 in the first class to graduate from the new school. Steven has always had a strong faith in God and accounts his blessings and successes to Him. When he is not working, Steven enjoys spending time with his family, playing the piano, and traveling.


Dr. Dawn MacMillan, Audiologist

Short biography


Steven Keene is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Steven attended South Georgia College in Douglas, GA and received his Associate of Science in Nursing in 2007. In Loving Memory

Dr. Jeffrey L. Silveira, MD

Dr. Jeffrey L. Silveira dedicated his life to the medical profession and touched the lives of many patients throughout his career.


Dr. Silveira pursued his undergraduate education at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, CA, from 1981 to 1987. He earned his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, in 1987. Following medical school, he completed an internship at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, HI, from July 1987 to June 1988.


Continuing his professional training, Dr. Silveira undertook a residency in Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington, from July 1990 to June 1994. During his residency, he also served as a General Medical Officer at Landsthul Regional Army Medical Center in Landstuhl, West Germany, from 1988 to 1990. Dr. Silveira served in the Army as a Major from 1987-1996.


Dr. Silveira’s dedication to his field was evident through his double board certifications from The American Board of Otolaryngology in Otolaryngology and Facial Plastics. Also had a love for sleep medicine where he took pride in helping many patients find a cure or improve their quality of life. He opened his medical practice in Douglas, GA in 1996. He would go on to open offices in Tifton and Waycross; and an ambulatory surgery center and physical therapy center in Douglas where overall he staffed approximately 80 staff members. Dr. Jeffrey Louis Silveira was not only an exceptional medical professional but also a strong Christian man whose faith played an integral role in his interactions with patients. He approached his practice with compassion and would often pray with each of his patients before surgery, providing them with comfort and solace during their challenging times.


As a testament to his caring nature, Dr. Silveira would often gift his patients with a teddy bear, symbolizing warmth and support, along with a Bible, representing his commitment to faith and healing. Many of his patients cherished these gifts, and years later, they still hold onto their stuffed animals as a reminder of Dr. Silveira's kindness and the lasting impact he had on their lives.


Dr. Silveira's unwavering dedication to his patients, combined with his deep-rooted faith, created a unique bond that extended beyond the operating room. His genuine care for their well-being left a lasting impression, and his patients will always remember him as a remarkable physician who brought both medical expertise and spiritual comfort into their lives.


Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dr. Silveira was known for his compassion, professionalism, and dedication to his patients. He approached his work with empathy, providing personalized care and ensuring the well-being of those he treated. Dr. Silveira's presence will be deeply missed by his colleagues, patients, friends, and family. His legacy as a compassionate physician and dedicated surgeon will continue to inspire others in the medical community for years to come.


In addition to his professional achievements and unwavering faith, Dr. Jeffrey Louis Silveira had a deep love for spending time with his family and being on the ocean. When he wasn't attending to the needs of his patients, he could often be found by the water, where he found comfort and peace.


Dr. Silveira's connection to the ocean was a source of inspiration and rejuvenation for him. Whether it was taking his family on a beach vacation, walking along the shore, feeling the sand beneath his feet, or simply gazing at the vast expanse of the sea, he found tranquility in its presence. The ocean's beauty and power served as a reminder of the wonders of nature and the importance of finding moments of serenity amidst life's demands.


Family was of utmost importance to Dr. Silveira, and he cherished the time he spent with his loved ones. He valued the moments shared, creating lasting memories through family gatherings, vacations, and simple everyday interactions. His dedication to his family was a testament to his character, as he prioritized their well-being and nurtured the bonds that held them together.


Dr. Silveira's love for the ocean and his devotion to his family were an integral part of his identity. These aspects of his life brought him joy and balance, allowing him to navigate the challenges of his profession with grace and a sense of grounding. His legacy will live on through the memories of cherished family moments and the inspiration drawn from his connection to nature's wonders.
